Whether you are looking for a hip international party hotel in town, a tranquillo finca in the countryside to relax, or a pretty villa with a pool, below are a couple of our favorite (and a few new, well reviewed) spots:

Renting a villa is a great way to spread the per person cost out for a luxe stay. Often, villas are rented Saturday to Saturday, so if you have a group that is planning to stay for the week, this could be a great option. If your stay is shorter you can always ask for a shorter rental! Some sites/properties allow it, and occasionally renters will make an exception to accommodate a shorter stay.

Notes:

Lodging on Ibiza can get pricey and inventory is limited. The sooner you book the better.

The island isn’t huge, but it ain’t small either. We loosely recommend that you stay in the south / southwest part of the island so that you’re no more than a 20-25 minutes taxi ride from group hangs.

Fly into the main international airport (Ibiza Airport – IBZ) and then rent a car (if you plan to bop around and explore), or jump in a taxi.

Official taxis in Ibiza have a meter and will pick you up after a phone call. They are also usually readily available in queues outside restaurants, clubs, etc.

If you want to book a taxi on demand, download/use TaxiClick. It’s not as accurate as Uber, but it works most of the time. There is no Uber/Lyft on the island.

Double check your passport! U.S. citizens can enter Spain for up to 90 days without a visa. Your passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the period of stay.

Familia: We love your niños y niñas and recognize that childcare is tricky, especially for long international holidays. If it suits, of course, you should feel free to bring your family and make a vacation of it. FYI, the planned events/hangs mentioned above are adults only.
